Lexi Fernandez is an American artist and printmaker based in South Florida who specializes in woodblock carvings, etchings and silk screen printing. The content of her work is strongly influenced by her interests and  personal experiences as a biracial Hispanic woman. Since earning her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Florida Atlantic University Lexi has challenged the ideas and views from society on women and the Latin-American community through her prints. Through the medium of printmaking she is able to create work that elevates these communities and allows them to be seen and admired by the masses.
